๐Ÿ’ฐ Finance Calculators

Value investing calculators and everyday money tools: mortgages, loans, savings, dividends and retirement.

Finance and Value Investing Calculators

CalcSnap began with value investing, and the finance section is the heart of the site. It has two groups of tools. The everyday calculators help with the money decisions most people face: what a mortgage or loan really costs, how savings grow with compound interest, how much to put aside for retirement, how much income dividends pay, and how to work with percentages. The value investing calculators put the classic methods of Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett into simple forms: the Graham Number, discounted cash flow (DCF), margin of safety, the P/E and P/B ratios, the Buffett Indicator and the Rule of 72.

How the Tools Fit Together

A typical value investing workflow uses several of them in turn. Start with the P/E and P/B ratios to see whether a share looks cheap at all. Estimate what the business is worth with the Graham Number and the DCF Calculator. Then check the margin of safety between that value and today's price. The Buffett Indicator shows whether the market as a whole looks expensive, and the Rule of 72 is a quick check on any growth assumption.

Accurate, Private and Free

Every calculator uses standard published formulas, which are explained on each page together with their limits. All calculations run in your browser: no figures you enter are sent anywhere or stored. Amounts are in euros, but the results work the same for any currency. The calculators are for education and planning, not financial advice. For a full introduction, read Value Investing 101.
